Jumbo Lump Crab Cake
Quite literally the best crab cakes that I've ever eaten. Anytime we visit the coast, wherever we go, I order crab cakes... No one compares to Hooks, and it's not even close. The crab dip is also super legit. We come to OKI once or twice a year, for a week each time, and we eat at Rusty Hooks no less than three times each week. We absolutely love it. It's by far our favorite restaurant around OKI/Southport. The owner is always super friendly, and they have the best and hardest working bartender around. I don't know his name, but my daughter calls him "Mr. Buff" (if you've ever been, you know who it is). We may make it down next month, if so, we're eating ALL THE CRAB CAKES!

Tony was an exceptional server tonight! Met all of our needs and was very attentive to our table. Awesome crab cakes too! Tons of lump crab! We'll be back!!

Fish & Chips Fish Factory Platter
This was our first visit to The Rusty Hook. It was highly recommended by a friend. We love fried fish & enjoyed the Fish Factory Fish & Chips. Could not have been more pleased. The fish was delicious & the slaw was perfect. Best French fries ever...seasoning was special. We ordered the French bread to go with our meal & it did not disappoint! Highly recommend the Rusty Hook!
Steak & Cheese
My wife and I discovered Rusty Hooks after having moved here 2 months prior. It immediately became our favorite spot. It reminds us of a Marina Bar we frequented back home in Pa. Great EVERYTHING. Location, staff, food, drinks and prices. The Fish & Chips sprang into an early lead as my favorite dish. That was until we returned the next day for lunch and I had the "Steak & Cheese." Otherwise known in our Hometown of Philadelphia as a Cheesesteak'wit. OMG. It blows Pat's and Geno's out of the water. But Tony Luke's is still the best. An outside waterfront Tiki Bar is currently under construction. And we'd like to reserve 2 permanent seats at the end of the bar please lol. If you haven't found this place yet, you are missing out. See ya's there. We are Joe & Flo ??
Jumbo Lump Crab Cake
MD crab cakes are hard to beat but you did it! These are my favorite of all time. I have to have these every time I am staying at Oak Island. Nothing compares to fresh crab cakes!
